Marek Novák

Member of the Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of the Czech Republic

Marek Novák is a native of Zlín. He began his career as an automotive mechanic before gaining diverse experience in roles ranging from warehouse management and customs clearance to international road transport management. He later served as a Sales Manager for an international corporation, where he contributed to the development of sales information systems. Alongside his professional career, he completed his secondary education in engineering business and subsequently earned a Master’s degree specializing in Population Protection and Security. He is an active figure in the sports community, serving as the chairman of a club with an extensive youth base. Entering politics in 2010, he initially served as an internal advisor and later participated in expert municipal groups. He has been a Member of Parliament since 2017. Currently, he is a member of the Committee on Social Policy, focusing on labor law, and the Committee on the Economy, where he chairs the Subcommittee on ICT, AI, the Digital Economy, and Crypto-assets. He is also a member of the Commission on Hybrid Threats. He has been dedicated to the digitalization of the public sector since the beginning of his parliamentary tenure.
