

Lukáš Klučka is a native of South Moravia, born in the town of Valtice. He graduated in Geoinformatics from the Faculty of Science at Masaryk University in Brno, where his research focused on the spatial analysis of security risks. Following his university studies, he joined the Ministry of the Interior, initially serving as a project manager for strategic ICT projects, and subsequently as Head of Department and Deputy Director of the Project Office. In these roles, he provided project support across the entire ministry, including the Police of the Czech Republic and the Fire and Rescue Service. He later moved to the Ministry of Defence, where he served as Director of the Department for Management of Organizations and Subsidies, and subsequently as Deputy Minister of Defence. In this capacity, he was responsible for the oversight of state-owned enterprises, military hospitals, and other subordinated entities. After leaving public service, he joined the consulting and auditing firm EY (Ernst & Young). As a manager, he specialized in digital transformation and technological innovation, serving as the sector leader for security, internal affairs, and defense. Since 2025, he has served as the First Deputy Minister of the Interior.
