

Aleš Rod is the Executive Director of the Centre for Economic and Market Analyses (CETA) and serves on the Board of Trustees of Anglo-American University (AAU) in Prague. He holds a Ph.D. in Economic Theory from the Prague University of Economics and Business. His research expertise focuses on the economics of regulation, with practical applications in energy, healthcare, public finance, addictive industries, and banking. Aleš provides consultancy for public and private sector projects both in Czechia and abroad. Beyond his professional practice, he is an investor, entrepreneur, and active supporter of the non-profit sector. For the past four years, he has served as a member of the National Economic Council of the Government (NERV).
