

Aleš Juchelka is a native of Ostrava, where he continues to reside with his family. He holds a degree from the Faculty of Economics at VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. During his studies, he gained experience in the Foreign Payments Department at Moravia Bank. In 1998, he launched his career as an entrepreneur in production, media, and PR. That same year, he became a prominent personality at Czech Television, where he worked until 2012 as a creator of children's programs, current affairs shows, and documentaries. He subsequently founded his own production agency. He entered politics in 2010, serving as a City Councilor in Ostrava and Chairman of the Audit Committee. He has been a Member of the Chamber of Deputies since 2017, focusing on social affairs and media policy. Throughout his tenure, he has served on the Permanent Commission on Family and Equal Opportunities, the Committee on Social Policy, and the Electoral Committee. From 2021, he chaired the Committee on Media Affairs, and in mid-2024, he became Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies.
